I am Laurie Pomeranz, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing for more than 25 years. I live in San Francisco, and provide in-person and online psychotherapy to adolescents, young adults and adults. Twenty years of my counseling experience has been working in high schools with teens and parents.

My goal as a therapist, and as a human being, is that we discover, claim and express our most authentic selves. If we choose to work together, we will co-create a space of trust in which we can be open and curious. We will explore your concerns in an atmosphere of respect and safety. We will focus on strengths and opportunities for growth.

 

My approach is compassionate, warm and engaged. I want my clients to feel heard and deeply known in our work together. I believe that the greatest insights and transformation occur in a relationship that is honest and free from judgment.
